Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor
At a mere 400 years old, Tegwyll is a relative newcomer to High Fae politics in Tuinvale. Handsome and quick-witter, he considered himself a natural fit in the refined court of the Kind Lord Talion—but like a sapling that grows meekly in the shade of the canopy above it, his ambitions were out of reach. He was pushed to the side, his youth a curse amidst Talion’s complex courtly ceremonies. However, the shadows proved to be a perfect shroud for a cunning upstart like Tegwyll. With status out of his grasp, he took whatever advantages came his way instead. He needed allies, unassuming ones, that could move unnoticed and uninhibited through the Wilds, and Tegwyll knew exactly who to contact: Alela, a lesser faerie and schemer like himself.
It was natural, of course, for the High Fae to look down upon their faerie relatives, but there were no better eyes and ears for Tegwyll than the flitting, mischievous faeries that served Alela in droves. After an absence of many years, Tegwyll made his return in a lavish coming-of-age ceremony, escorted by flights of faeries in a coordinated, dazzling display. It was both an announcement of his return to court and a sign of his intentions. The celebration lasted nearly a year, with Tegwyll whispering silky words in the ears of the most influential Fae. Those he could not convince of his worth were set upon in secret by Alela and her gang, and through pranks and mischief she sullied their reputation. Tegwyll has set his sights upon the final prize—the throne of the Kind Lord. Though his scheme may take millennia to come, his ambition will reign eternal.

Ellivere of the Wild Court
Ellivere, now Syr Ellivere, was born into a noble family in Ardenvale when it still stood tall and Kenrith rules as High King. She was peculiar; she spoke no words nor cried until her tenth birthday, when during the ceremony, she was to release a caged dove. As she opened the cage, the dove clambered onto her outstretched hand where it rested calmly. Only when she spoke the word “fly: to her new friend did it flutter away. In the years thereafter, her parents brought her pets from all over the Realms to keep her company, which Ellivere would free soon after they arrived. Whatever trouble this brought, her mothers were simply overjoyed to see their daughter finally express herself. She took the path of knighthood as soon as she was able, giving her a chance to venture beyond the walls of her castle. As a squire, Ellivere was a handful, but her loyalty and strength proved her worth time and time again.
After the Phyrexian Invasion destroyed her home at Ardenvale, Ellivere wandered the Realms helping who she could. When Will Kenrith claimed the title of High King, he dubbed her Syr Ellivere as a reward for her devotion to the people of Eldraine, making her the youngest to ever become a knight. Her first task? Venture into the Wilds in search of a cure for the Wicked Slumber that assails the Realms. In the Wilds, Ellivere felt the same sense of east she had among her animals at home. All manner of peaceful critters of the Wilds came out to greet her, from ouphes and bunnicorns to faeries and bumblesheep. Now she tromps through the tangled woods with her new friends, After all, what is a knight without a squire or two at their side?
