Lightning Storm is a singleton, group memory game that follows Vintage legality and banlist. It is a cardless card game.
Each player starts with 3 life. The youngest player in the game is the starting player.

To begin the game, a Lightning Storm is put on the stack targeting the starting player. The starting player says the name of a land card and chooses a new target for Lightning Storm.
After the new target has been announced, the targeted player has 7 seconds to say the name of a land card not already named during this game and chooses a new target for Lightning Storm.
Whenever a player is unable to say the name of a land card in time or repeats the name of a land card already named this game, Lightning Storm resolves, killing them. Then, if there are two or more players remaining, a new Lightning Storm is put on the stack targeting the next player in clockwise order.
A player wins the game when Lightning Storms have killed all of their opponents.

(Ex: !”Shimmering Grotto”) If a land card is returned, the storm moves on. If a nonland card, illegal land card, or no card is returned, the storm is not redirected. Lightning Storm resolves, killing them.
- Players cannot retain priority or retarget themselves. Lightning Storm has been tweaked to avoid selfish mages.
- Vintage legality is to cut down on disputes and remove problem cards, like the nameless playtest land or Waste Land. Expand the card pool at your own peril.
