Magic is power.
It has the capacity to create and destroy. Manipulate and transform. It can shatter the very laws that govern each world.
The infinite planes of the Multiverse are home to countless mages. And for all their mastery over their craft, they’re each bound to their own planes of reality. Blind to the true vastness of the Multiverse.
But some mages are born with the potential for more. The spark. This gift, realized only upon facing a great ordeal. Once ignited, it allows the mage to travel between planes and draw from each plane’s magic to reach heights of power otherwise impossible to achieve. They can begin their journey as a Planeswalker.
[Kytheon pulls his spear from the defeated titan of Erebos and triumphantly raises it into the air. Stepping down from the body, he is congratulated by his Irregulars.
In the distance, Erebos, the god of the dead, rises with his whip in hand. Kytheon smirks and hoists his spear, releasing it in the direction of Erebos.
Erebos curls his whip, catching the spear in it’s path and returning it towards Kytheon and his Irregulars. Kytheon shimmers with invulnerability magic as the spear approaches. A flash of white is followed by Gideon brushing his shoulder before seeing the bodies of his fallen friends surrounding him.
Kytheon drops to his knees as white light cracks through his skin and quickly consumes him entirely.
He reappears on sunlit field on Bant, greeted by three leotau, each with a knight atop them. An angel descends to meet him.]
[Alhammarret steps toward Jace near the edge of the landing pad. Jace begins a spell to attack Alhammarret’s mind, but it soon rebuffed by the sphinx. The force pushes Jace close to the edge of the platform and he glances behind to find no more space.
Jace’s eyes glow blue as he returns with more power. Their two streams of magic meet in the middle, exploding into a blast of blue light and a high ringing noise. Alhammarret collapses, but not before the outline of his collar and headwear are highlighted in Jace’s vision.
Jace’s fingers begin to blur, being pulled somewhere else, and soon his whole body shimmers in distortion.
Jace reappears on Ravnica, standing from the grass to find himself on a rooftop Selesnya garden. He looks around at the sprawling Selesnyan architecture.]
[Inside of a dimly lit cave, a group of zombies surrounding an elderly Liliana Vess collapse. She herself falls to the ground soon after.
The demon Kothophed appears from a dark corner and approaches Liliana with his wings outstretched. His tail wraps around her as she stares into his glowing red eyes.
He begins to use his nails to mark her skin, leaving violet lines along his path.
Liliana, noticeably younger, examines the fresh etchings as they glow. She raises her arms and casts a spell which returns the zombies around her to action.]
[Young Chandra is shackled to the center of the arena as the masked executioner Baral approaches her.
Chandra ignites, sending a wave of flame spiraling outwards at Baral and the audience. The fire covers the floor of the arena.
Chandra reappears in an unsure location and sees the silhouette of a figure approaching her. She blasts fire at the figure, but it is revealed to be a hooded monk who disperses the flame. The monk pulls down her hood to reveal blueish skin.
The monk waves towards the Monastery training grounds, where three monks practice controlling their own fire magic.]
[Two boggarts walk through the forest until they sense something behind them and dive for cover in a tree.
Dwynen rushes forward, bow and arrow in hand. Three other elves follow after her.
Nissa surveys the elves from atop tree as the two boggarts continue to climb up.
Dwynen and the elves continue forward, but a vine snatches an elf from the back of the party. Two other vines reach forward, one finding its victim and the other sliced through by an elf. Nissa drops down and kicks the elf in the chest before spotting an arrow. She thrusts her staff forward, blocking the arrow with a vine-like growth from its tip.
Dwynen attacks with a blade, but Nissa holds it off with her staff. She pushes forward with vines to back her up, knocking Dwynen back before grabbing her at her feet.
Nissa transforms her staff into a thin blade as she leaps and repeatedly swings, connecting with Dwynen’s blade each time.
Nissa stops after fifth strike, glancing over to find the boggarts have fled the scene. Nissa and her vines calmly retreat, leaving Dwynen on the ground.
The ground begins to change under Nissa’s feet as a vine raises her toward the sky. She glances back at the boggarts and smiles before continuing up.]
