Main Game Page: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2015

Jace Beleren: The Onakke created the Chain Veil not merely to destroy, but to create destroyers.

Of course most are too weak to survive its curse. But there are always more who are lured by its promise of power.

Some have been twisted and ruined by its dark magic. But Garruk, if his curse is not removed, he will be a threat to us all.

Jace Beleren: I’ve looked into your mind and tested your skills. I’m confident that you’re strong enough to face the dangers ahead.

Garruk’s instincts have become warped by the Veil’s curse, and now he hunts his own kind: Planeswalkers. His skills as a hunter are unmatched and he can track us anywhere in the Multiverse.

But it gets worse. The curse of the Veil hasn’t finished working in his veins.

The curse will call him back to the Onakke tomb so it can further corrupt his soul.

It will turn him into a demon.

And it won’t just stop at destroying Shandalar. The whole Multiverse lies in its path.

We can’t let that happen.

I don’t yet know how to remove the Veil’s curse and save Garruk, but I think there is a way to stop this transformation. You’ll have to go to the Onakke tomb, destroy the altar, and sever his connection to it.

One last thing, Planeswalker. I’ve glimpsed into Garruk’s mind. He’s hunting you now.

Jace Beleren: Now that you’ve defeated Ob Nixilis, remove the hedron that has dampened his power.

It is an ancient object made with powerful magic. You’ll have to defeat Garruk first and then bind the hedron into him. Its magic will do the rest.

Be careful, Garruk already knows you’re up to something. He’ll be closing in on you fast.

When you’ve recovered your strength, bring the hedron to me and we can face him together.

Garruk Wildspeaker:Too late.

Jace Beleren: Bind the hedron into him. Its magic will do the rest.

You did alright, Planeswalker. I wasn’t sure you could pull it off, but you did it.

I still don’t know why we are the way we are, or what the spark means for each of us, but using our power to save a plane from destruction isn’t a bad start.
